The Regional Consortium led by IDRA Research and Consulting is contracted by UNDP to conduct the study on “ Youths' Perceptions on Peace and Security in Western Balkans”. This study extends to Albania, Bosnia I Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, Norther Macedonia and Serbia.
IDRA in cooperation with local partners and supervised by UNDP will provide data collection through interviews and focus group discussion to measure the perception of young people in all Western Balkan Countries regards peace and security in the region.
The project includes 900 interviews and two focus group discussions in each country.
The age group of respondents of this study will be from 15 - 29 years old. This study will provide data on the experience and feedback of young people with regard to issues of security, violence, conflict, negotiation, and peace. Furthermore, through research instruments, their expectations and priorities for the future will be measured.
